Parks provide the perfect setting for unforgettable family adventures. Here are a few recommended kids' activities to experience this season.
Ninja Warrior Course
Children can put their skills to the test on the diverse Ninja Warrior Course at Echo Valley Provincial Park. This action-packed attraction, featuring a zipline, bouldering wall, and ropes course, has been a hit with visitors of all ages since its grand opening. It's an experience that promises fun and excitement for the whole family.

Many parks feature family-friendly hiking and biking trails suitable for all skill levels, including the Boreal Trail and Trans Canada Trail. While in nature, keep your eyes open as fall is a great time to catch glimpses of wildlife in the parks. Visit the park office to find the trails that are best suited to your ability.
Insider's Tip: Did you know there is an adaptive trail at the Wascana Valley Natural Area Recreation Site? The Wildflower Trail, a wide and hard-packed path with a gentle slope, provides an inclusive trail experience for a wide variety of users. It was created in partnership with the Saskatchewan Trails Association and the Trans Canada Trail Association to improve accessibility for all users, regardless of ability, age, or mobility.

Disc Golf

Additionally, visitors can inquire about Recreation Packs, which include disc golf, ladder ball, bocce ball, and more, available at the park office upon request for added enjoyment.
Stargazing
Stay overnight in designated camping areas and take advantage of Saskatchewan's clear night skies. Look up at all constellations, planets, and the wonders of the universe while lying under the stars.
